Zippey is manufactured from high-spec 4mm aluminium plate, has a forged Aluminium gate and Stainless Steel wheels; all of which offer the best weight to performance ratio on the market. The Zippey trolley weighs 450g (1.0lb) yet has an MBS of 25kN (5620lbf) and therefore exceeds the 2260kg (5000lb) rating required by US standards, as well as being fully CE approved. Zippey is available with a range of factory-fitted accessories. Accessories can also be purchased separately, and used as retro-fit upgrade/replacement options.

Zippey is now supplied with a factory-fitted fingerguard, making it EN17109:202+A12024/B compliant. Finger guards for the Zippey Trolley & Accessories, can also be purchased separately, as retro-fit/replacements.

It is essential to select a trolley which will be appropriate for the intended speed of the zipline. Please see the speed ranges noted above. We also recommend that builders/operators trial a small number of trolleys in order to ensure their suitability. Please note that the speeds listed above are used as a guideline only, due to the many variables, such as:

Quality/ smoothness of the cable
Distance of the run
Rider weights
Environmental factors (e.g. salt spray near coasts or slate grit near quarries)
Ambient temperature
Maintenance regime

The above variables will also affect the lifespan of the Bearings
