Katie Jones Customer Service Supervisor

I joined ISC in October 2013 on a temporary contract to cover Maternity Leave as a Customer Service Administrator and I’m still here over 6 years later, now as a Customer Service Supervisor.

ISC has given me the opportunity to grow professionally by allowing me to gain additional qualifications. I have received external training on ILM level 2 and Level 3 courses in Leadership and Management, as well as in house training to cover in Despatch.

I enjoy the work I do at ISC and no two days are ever the same. I feel very fortunate to work with a great team of people!

Connor Burford Assembly Supervisor

My first experience of ISC was during a year in industry student placement, whilst studying BSc Product Design Engineering.

A year later, I was really happy to be invited to join the team as a Product Engineer.
During such a short space of time, I have been given great training opportunities for my career progression. I currently manage the Assembly department.

I work with brilliant people, who work together as a team to make the business a success!

Dan Yates Engineering Manager

I joined ISC in April 2012 as a Quality & Production Engineer, with a background in Mechanical Engineering. Now, as Engineering Manager, I manage the Engineering, Toolroom and Quality Department, while also developing new products for ISC.

With a Level 1 in IRATA among other Awards in a variety of Work At Height, Casualty Management and Specialist Rescue training programmes, we have been able to successfully develop new products for the Rope Access, Rescue and other market sectors.

ISC is an exciting and dynamic place to work, with an amazing team of people and many great opportunities to learn different technologies in design and manufacturing. There is always a new and exciting project to work on.

Evangela Voma Engineering Apprentice

I have been on an apprenticeship with ISC for a little over 4 months, while studying HNC Level Engineering.
So far, I’ve learnt about the various departments at ISC and some of the work the Engineers do to solve problems in manufacturing.

I have also taken part in the WorldSkills UK competition as a National finalist and was supported by the team at ISC. This increased my skill level in CAD (Computer Aided Design).

I have enjoyed working with many talented and pleasant people during my time so far.

Alan Wyn Williams Purchasing / Health & Safety Manager

During the school holidays of 1974, my mum got me a summer job here. I then came back in 1976 this time as an Apprentice specialising in bench toolmaking, jigs and fixtures.

Fast forward to now, I have worked my way up to my current role as Purchasing / Health & Safety Manager. To enable me to get to this point in my career, ISC has invested in a lot of training like NEBOSH, CIPS and Supervisory and Management qualifications to name a few.

The one thing that have not changed since I joined is the family orientated culture, we support and help each and we all have a passion to make the business a success!

Tracey Rowlands Assembly Operative

I joined ISC in February 2014 on a 1 month temporary contract, 6 years on I’m still enjoying the experience of new products to assemble and new challenges.

Teamwork is essential between co-workers throughout the whole of the business, working together to make the ISC future a bright one!
