ISC Zippey Clip'n'Zip Trolley chosen for New Panza Okinawa Zip line for Sheraton Resorts

January 31st 2017

Project Adventure Japan have announced that the official opening of their new Sheraton PANZA Okinawa Zipline will take place on the 6th February!  ISC Zippey Clip'n'Zip Trolleys will fly visitors down the 250m long line, over the beautiful scenery of the San Marina Beach.

The compact and lightweight design allows users to easily carry the Zippey Trolley with them as they make their way up to the launch tower. The Zippey is then mounted on the line, using a single hand to operate the safety catch. These Zippeys are fitted with rubber-sealed bearings which help to retain bearing grease and provide defense from the ingress of debris.  This feature offers proven performance and durability- even in humid seaside environments such as this.

Each Zippey Trolley is also fitted with the ISC 'ARC' (Anti-Rollback Cam); a small device which prevents any backwards movement of the Trolley on the line. With unpredictable side/headwinds coming in off the sea, the ARC is a key piece of equipment for reducing rescue distances.  When riders don't quite make it to the end of the Zipline, the ARC stops the Trolley from rolling backwards and taking the rider further away from the end of the line. The ARC will also prevent the end-of-line braking system from propelling users backwards down the line!

The Zippey and ARC combination (with a little help from the awesome scenery!), will offer a wonderful experience for the user- and maximum throughput efficiency for the operator!
