NEW RAD Device, with optional Swing-cheek function!

The latest model RAD (RP815.2) now features optional swing-cheek function.  The new top bollard on the '.2' version allows the user the choice of fixing the side plate in place (in line with Lanyard-related standards), or removing the captivation screw, allowing the front plate to be swung open, as required.  The swinging side plate function is particularly useful when the device is used in descent applications.

To convert the device from fixed to swing plate function, the user simply needs to remove the screw from the bollard, using a 2.5mm Allen Key.  A small, flat-head screwdriver is then used to insert a small, headless Grub Screw in to the bollard.  The purpose of the Grub Screw is to keep the threaded hold free from dirt and debris.  This means that the device can then be converted back to 'fixed' function, as required.
