We are extremely proud to report that her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II had the pleasure of meeting ISC employee, Beryl Williams at a recent garden party, held at Buckingham Palace.
Having worked at ISC for 16 years as CNC Operator & First Aider, Beryl received the invitation in recognition of her services and contribution to St. John’s Ambulance. Beryl has been a member of St. John’s for over 25 years and devoted over 20,000 hours of her time in volunteering and fundraising. Beryl has raised thousands of pounds for the charity, facilitating the purchase of much needed life-saving equipment, including an ambulance.
Her commitment to St. John’s, has meant Beryl has climbed to the rank of Bronze Commander and is also a Level 4 Officer and treasurer for her local area – Llanberis. This means she is in high demand across the region, providing First Aid support at various events, through-out the year, all on a voluntary basis.
We’d like to take this opportunity to congratulate Beryl and wish her good luck in her upcoming exams, where she is hoping to qualify as an Emergency Patient Transport Attendant.
Well done Beryl & Good luck!
