Work on our new Training and Demo Tower has now been completed! The tower, which stands at 19.4m (64ft), is located on site at the ISC Factory in North Wales. The four month project involved the selection and conversion of an ex-telecom tower. The addition of 64 anchor points and structural modifications to provide an over-hang have resulted in a facility which allows for a range of industrial and rope access climbing applications, including Safe Work at Height Climbing, Aid Climbing, Rope to Rope Transfer, Belaying, Rescue and Descent Testing on standard and overhang drops.
The main function of the tower will be for our IRATA and Safe Working at Height trained Development Engineers and Demo Team to conduct extensive practical testing of both existing products and new development projects. As well as being able to properly and professionally demonstrate our products to customers In addition to the tower, we have also built a new ground anchor, to allow us to perform in-house testing of Tripod Systems.
