| ISC is delighted to launch a new and innovative product called the KLIPA (RP410) designed for use as an in-line connector to ensure 100% attachment when traversing horizontally. The KLIPA was originally developed for the challenge (rope) course industry to provide a safe system of work on horizontal wires for the general public, but is likely to have many other industrial uses. |

Designed to fit to the front attachment point of a harness the KLIPA functions as a connector that reduces any possibility of the user detaching their first lanyard before attaching their second when swapping from line to line, thus ensuring 100% protection without the need for expensive continuous lifelines or extensive user training.
Its unique locking mechanism requires two specific actions to make it work correctly (click in the second lanyard then pull and move the lever). The KLIPA can also be released under load which helps to make rescue easier. |

| The KLIPA is a mechanical device manufactured using aerospace grade aluminium so it is strong but lightweight (400g/14oz) and the internal keeper-bars are made from heat treated steel so that the KLIPA exceeds the strength requirements of both CE EN362 (20kN) and ANSI 07 (5000lbs) Connectors. The KLIPA is CE approved to the PPE Directive by SATRA. The device measures 120mm/5in x 110mm/4in and is 25mm/1in deep and is designed to accommodate 8mm Delta-Dee rings (rated at 20kN/5000lb minimum) fitted to lanyards. The main harness attachment is compatible with a 25kN HMS karabiner such as the KH204. |

The KLIPA can be utilised with other products from the ISC range to make a fully compatible kit including – RP037D micro-pulley in stainless steel suitable for use on up to half-inch wire ropes, FA251 fall limiter with up to 2.5m/8ft webbing and DD302 steel delta-dee plus of course a variety of karabiners to suit. |
