The body is now forged from a lighter grade aluminium to reduce weight (120g/4oz) whilst the strength remains at 27kN/6000lb. It is fully CE approved and ANSI and NFPA ‘L’ compliant. The standard version SH901C (red/grey colour combination) features a 23mm/15/16” gate whereas the all-black military version SH901D features a larger 26mm/1” gate.Both SH901 models feature the ISC unique Blind Nose to prevent snagging on webbing/rope.

The other unique feature which has been designed-in following many user comments is the safety ‘heel' which shields the gate and helps to reduce the likelihood of accidental opening when pressed against something. This makes it a safer and superior product to the many other competitive versions currently available and is a unique feature to the ISC model.

These snaphooks will be marked by laser etching allowing some customisation if required.
