ISC recently took a major step forward towards developing its business in the Middle East by exhibiting at the recent 3-day ‘Intersec Expo’ in Dubai. This is the foremost Health & Safety exhibition in the Middle East and focuses on fire, police and civil defence authorities.

Wayne Ellis, ISC’s Sales and Marketing Manager said ‘we were able to make this positive step forward thanks to grant funding made available by Welsh Trade International to assist Welsh companies in their efforts to export worldwide. WTI made all the arrangements, designed and built the stand and hosted us superbly during the event which allowed us to introduce our product range to wide variety of local organisations.

There was lots of interest in our fall arrest block range and also our two newest rescue descenders, Scarab and Smartline, and it was good to see that there is a growing recognition of quality fall protection equipment as opposed to low cost compliance products. Apart from the steady stream of enquiries, the highlight of the week was a visit by the famous British comedian Peter Kay, who turned up to brighten a working Sunday!
