ISC manufactures a range of products specifically for use working in and for escape from confined spaces including tripod, fall arrest block with retrieval winch, work winch, rope grabs and pulleys. The pictures below highlight some of the features of each product, however more technical information can be found on data sheets for the individual products elsewhere on our website.

Tripod head > machined from extruded aluminum it is incredibly strong. Plunger pins positively lock each leg into place. Double pulleys are fitted as standard giving flexibility to use a winch in conjunction with a fall arrest block. Each pulley wheel is also fitted with plates and a safety pin to prevent accidental releasing of the wire of a fall arrest block. The head also features an eye bolt (indicating or non indicating) which can be used as a third anchor point. (1)


		Fall arrest block > Our 15m block has a proven track record across industry. Easy pull pin operation allows the user to swap between normal fall arrest retraction mode and winching mode. This block has been designed with a hardened gear ring so it can be used as an occasional winch rather than only for emergencies and uniquely it has a 136kgWLL. (2)


Brackets > Machined from aluminum extrusion these clamp brackets are quick and easy to use. There are 2 types of bracket one suitable for a 50mm diameter leg and one for the standard ISC rectangular leg, however the footprint of each bracket is designed to suit either the work winch or the fall arrest block (3)

Work winch > this basic work winch has a 125kg WLL and15m cable. Independently it should only be used as a material winch, however if used as part of an appropriate kit with a secondary safety system it can be used for man-riding. Like the block it features a safety clutch on the handle which stops it from spinning even when under load. (4)

Tripod feet > made from cast aluminum these are fitted with a slip resistant rubber pad and are pointed at one end to allow them to grip in softer ground.

The tripod is rated to 350kg WLL which incorporates a 10:1 safety factor. This makes it ideal for use in rescue situations. Color options are available for all products in the range .The fall arrest block and tripod can be private labeled if required. Service/repair training is All products are CE approved to appropriate standards and are available for competent persons. ANSI compliant. (5)
