ISC Service

Services

Design

Product design & development are the core activities at ISC. We are constantly improving and extending our range to allow us to compete in the world market.

The foundation for any design program is understanding, both from a user stand-point and of the market for which the product is intended. At ISC we have years of experience and product knowledge.

We ensure that the design intent is destined not only to satisfy expectations, but to exceed them.

Prototype

Prototyping provides an early opportunity to test and validate design intent, prior to commitment of any significant investment.

Our extensive in-house prototyping capabilities allow us to progress an initial sketched idea through to a production prototype. Leading Solidworks and Mastercam CAD software packages are used to create 3D models, working drawings, presentational imagery and production tooling.

Manufacture

The majority of ISC components are produced, finished and assembled in-house. Our factory is equipped with an extensive range of Tooling, Press shop, Hot Forging and Multi Axis CNC Mill & Turning Centres.

Testing & Quality Control

At ISC we maintain rigorous product testing and quality inspection programs. We employ state of the art machinery, operated by experienced Quality Inspectors- a combination which allows us to present products of the very highest quality.

Standards

ISC is a certified SGS ISO 9001:2008 Manufacturer. All ISC Products conform to the relevant industry standards, as certified by independent test houses.

Standards include:

  • CE (PPE DIRECTIVE 89/686)
  • ANSI Z359
  • NFPA 1986
  • ASNZ 1891
  • FIA & SFI

ISC Product Service Training

ISC products may be serviced by ISC Distributors with a valid ISC Service Training Certificate.

A complete package for competent persons service & repair training is now available for our range of Fall Arrest Blocks, ALF & R-ALF Pulleys and Tripods.

The ISC factory is the ideal location for this training, although it is possible to send an ISC Engineer to your premises*.

Training normally takes one day and covers the complete (current) range of blocks, including webbing and wire versions. The training can also include the ISC Tripod (TP142/143 range) and the Alf and R-ALF Pulley (RP430/431) range.

Tools, jigs and fixtures can all be provided. A comprehensive service manual is provided to each trainee. Spare parts are available as kits, to aid quick and easy re-ordering.
