The Klipa is an in-line connector device, designed to ensure 100% attachment.
Attached to the front point of the harness, the Klipa functions as a connector that eliminates the possibility of the user detatching their current lanyard, without first attaching their next lanyard. The Klipa has a unique locking mechanism which requires two specific actions, before a safety lanyard can be dissconnected. Users must first insert the Triangle on the second lanyard, then pull and slide the lever over. Only then can the first lanyard be dissconnected and discarded.
It is possible to release the Klipa under load, allowing for quick and easy rescue.
The Klipa is a cost effective alternative to expensive Continuous Life Line systems and is suitable for frequent use.
Manufactured from Aerospace Grade Aluminium, the Klipa is lightweight yet strong. The internal Keepers are made from Steel, allowing the Klipa to exceed the strength requirements of both CE EN362 (20kN) and ANSI 07(500lbs). The Klipa is CE approved to the PPE Directive (as tested by SATRA).
